PROSTATE - TREATMENT PROTOCOL FOR SWOLLEN PROSTATE GLAND
The most important substances for preventing prostate swelling in males and reducing swollen prostate glands down to normal size are the herbs:
- Saw Palmetto : take 600 mg of extract per day
- Pygeum : take 200 mg of extract per day
- Stinging nettle: take 500 mg of extract per day
Take half of the above doses of these herbs in the morning and the other half at night. (take all herbs together)
These herbs prevent normal testosterone converting to the prostate swelling dihydrotestosterone. Dihydrotestosterone is the leading culprit in benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) - prostate swelling.
Antioxidant supplements that augment the prostate normalizing effect of these herbs and prevent BPH progressing to prostate cancer are:
- Zinc Picolinate: 30-50 mg per day
- 1-2 tablespoons of tomato sauce per day
- 3 teaspoons of flaxseed oil per day with tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon of cod-liver oil per day with tomato sauce
- 1, 25000 iu natural source Beta Carotene tablet per day
- 1, 1000 mg vitamin C tablet per day
- 1, 500 iu Vitamin E capsule per day
- 4, 50 mcg Selenium tablets per day
- High potency multi vitamin and mineral tablet to synergize the action of the other supplements –
- “Formula Six”.
Take all the above supplements together, once per day with food
- Drink 1 high Isoflavone Soy protein shake each day
- Drink 2-3 cups of Chinese green tea per day.
Cut right down on saturated fat and transfats = red meat, cakes, cookies, chips, crisps, all processed and packaged and take away foods, milk, cheese and yoghurt.
Cut right down on calories especially those from white sugar and white flour. Lose weight if Over-weight
